SHORT ESSAY ON TRAVELLING – 750+ WORDS
Traveling means living the present lives and beauty of nature around the surroundings of the world. We all love traveling and everybody is a traveler from their own perspective. What kind of travelers have you met on your bus trips, train rides, boat rides, taxi trips, and plane flights? Do you like them or are you suspicious of them? To some, traveling alone is an interesting plan but to some, it is a shocking experience turning into a nightmare.
On short but trips, where you just want to get on and hop off after a few but stops, the people you meet are the daily commuters who are in a hurry to get to work or home. These people may bother and seems to be lazy, but some of them have even turned out to be very useful, helps you in your shopping bags or giving way to you.
Travel differ according to fellow passengers too
However, on long haul but a journey, it could well be a different situation altogether. Sometimes you are sharing your sit alongside a pretty fatty and huge person who occupies more space than they should. There have been matters worse, as they are apparently not aware that they have taken up someone’s seat space. It is ok or alright if you are as slim and thin as a rake but if you are somewhat nearer them, it could be a tight squeeze your body. Whenever this happens to me, I remember a friend who buys two tickets, one for her portly figure and the other for her bag goodies. There are also some considerate fellow passengers who not encroach on your space.
Traveling experience in train
Coming to train rides, on day trips, a train journey is quite boring co-passengers keep to their seats except for some who come heavily laden and push all their belongings under their seats and yours as well. If there is not enough space, they control the table and upper luggage decks. Night journeys are normally quiet but when you get a snoring sleeper on the upper deck. If you are a person who wakes up easily, then your night will be of lost sleep and tired limbs.
Traveling weakness too
Taking a boat is not normal in urban regions, not discounting the river cruise. For someone people who do not get seasickness, boat riding is just like any other means of transportation. However, on long boat rides, it can be rather frightening when you turn a funny kind of green and blue. Your stomach does a funny churning and you feel like growing up but do not.
What irritates most of all traveler is thought that your traveling companions are fine and they look with strange and surprising looks at your clearly visible signs of discomfort. They obviously have no sympathy for you.
Taxis and small means of transportations can be a quick means of getting to the distance from point A to point B. However, the picky taxi driver who refuses to use his meter to travel to a certain place can spoil your day. In another example, the taxi driver who crosses or weaves his way in and out of traffic rule can put the fear in you. On long-distance travel or taxi trips, if you are squeeze in the middle between two passengers in the rear seat, then it is sure that you are not going to have a comfortable journey. You should have purchased a bus ticket at a lower rate at your destination an hour late.
Brave the discomfort and bear them- conclusions
People who are mostly traveling by air have strange stories of their co-passengers. Some people get drunk and become an act of noisiness as well as create a danger to other passengers and the craft staff itself. There are some who stink of body odor or perfume(cheap perfume purchased at the duty- free airport shops?) or even of some food they have consumed earlier. Passengers who lean their seats for there comfort do bit too much and disturb the space of the back passenger. On the other hand, there are passengers who scream noisily and they would not allow you to recline or lean the seat at all.
Whatever be the modes of transport you are traveling in or with whom, just brave the discomforts and bear with them. In a way, you are going to reach your destination sooner or later and be comfortable resting in the comfort of your home.
